Cairo International Film Festival, chaired by the esteemed artist Hussein Fahmy, announced the signing of a strategic partnership with Toyota Egypt Group, under which the Lexus brand will be the exclusive automotive partner for the 46th edition of the festival. The event is scheduled to take place from November 12 to 21, 2025, at the Egyptian Opera House, under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture.
Commenting on this development, Hussein Fahmy, Chairman of Cairo International Film Festival, said:

This partnership comes as part of the festival’s dedication to enhancing the comprehensive experience for filmmakers, stars, and international guests. Lexus Egypt, a brand under Toyota Egypt Group, will provide a fleet of luxury vehicles to transport the festival’s VIP guests and participants, aligning with the festival’s prestigious status and international reputation.
The signing ceremony was attended by artist Hussein Fahmy, Chairman of Cairo International Film Festival, Mr. Ahmed Mounsef, CEO of Toyota Egypt Group, along with representatives from both parties, underscoring the importance of this alliance and its role in supporting one of the region’s premier film festivals.

It is worth noting that Cairo International Film Festival, founded in 1976, is the oldest in the Arab world and Africa and the only festival in the region registered with the International Federation of Film Producers Associations (FIAPF) in Brussels under the “A” category. Throughout its history, the festival has established itself as a leading global platform for the world premieres of international and regional films, alongside its industry programs and public events celebrating cinematic creativity and promoting cultural exchange.
