The Cairo International Film Festival (CIFF) announces the launch of ‘Cairo Pro-Meet’ — a new programme held under the Cairo Film Market as part of the festival’s industry sidebar, Cairo Industry Days, during the festival’s upcoming 46th edition, taking place from November 12th to the 21st.
Cairo Pro-Meet is a platform that will bring filmmakers together with leading regional and international industry professionals; the programme is designed to encourage collaboration, mentorship, and idea exchange, while supporting filmmakers and highlighting Egypt’s position as a key hub for cinema in the region.
Through organised meetings and networking activities, the initiative will give participants the chance to discuss different aspects of filmmaking, from production and financing to creative development. It will also open doors for Arab filmmakers to connect with global experts, creating opportunities for partnerships and co-productions.
With Cairo Pro-Meet, the CIFF doubles down on its mission to support new talent, expand the presence of Arab cinema internationally, and keep pace with industry developments worldwide. The programme is set to make Cairo Industry Days an essential meeting point for filmmakers, producers, and distributors from across the globe.
