Cairo International Film Festival is pleased to announce the screening schedule for its 46th edition, taking place from November 12 to 21, 2025, featuring a wide participation and distinguished films from around the world.
This edition will showcase a diverse lineup of films across several screening venues inside and outside the Egyptian Opera House, providing a unique experience for cinema lovers everywhere.
Among the screening venues within the Egyptian Opera House are: The Grand Hall, the Small Hall, Hanager Theater, Hanager Cinema, and Creativity Centre.
Outside the Opera House, the festival’s films will be screened at: Tahrir Cultural Center – Ewart Hall at the American University, Zamalek Cinema 1 and 2, and Vox Cinemas at Mall of Egypt and City Centre Almaza (multiple auditoriums).
This screening schedule reflects the cultural and cinematic diversity characteristic of the edition, featuring a rich collection of Arab and international films across the festival’s official competitions and special programs, while taking into consideration different age categories and ticket types.
Cairo International Film Festival is one of the most prestigious festivals in the Arab world and Africa, and the only one in the region accredited with the « Category A » status by the International Federation of Film Producers Associations (FIAPF) in Paris. Established in 1976, the festival is held annually under the auspices of the Egyptian Ministry of Culture
