Cairo International Film Festival, presided over by actor Hussein Fahmy, deeply mourns the loss of the legendary global star Robert Redford, one of the most prominent figures in American and world cinema. Redford left an indelible mark on the history of the seventh art, both as an actor, director, and producer.
\nFor decades, Redford stood as a symbol of creativity and passion for cinema, leaving behind a lasting artistic legacy that extended from the silver screen to the founding of the Sundance Film Festival, which became a global platform supporting independent cinema and showcasing new talent.
